Students will learn the basics of mosaic design and construction, explore options for designs and projects, and complete one or two flat panel mosaics. There are several methods of mosaic construction – a double reverse method will be taught for the first project – others will be discussed and a different method may be used for the second project depending upon its application. Work will begin on a small introductory mosaic project that will be selected from patterns available during the first session.
