Advanced Pottery with Debbie Hughes

Mondays,  January 9 - February 27,  6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

This intermediate/advanced class is designed for those ages 15 and up who have had previous experience and/or instruction in pottery and would like to improve their hand building techniques, learn new skills, and gain experience on the potters wheel.

Fee: $150

Supplies: $30 (includes 25lb bag of clay, glazes & firing; additional supplies and firing time may be purchased)

Students may come in to work on the wheel or hand-building on their own during regular Bower Center hours.

Background
Debbie Hughes, owner of Painted Ponies Pottery in Lowry, VA, has over 25 years of experience teaching pottery at beginning, intermediate and advanced levels, and has taught at the Academy of Fine Arts for a number of years. Her classes cover many different aspects of pottery making and will be tailored to the experience level of the students.

Registration is not complete until full payment is received by the Bower Center.

Cancellation Policy

Classes subject to cancellation by the Bower Center if minimum attendance is not met or other circumstances beyond our control; 100% refund applies.

If attendee cancels, 85% of class fees will be refunded, unless the withdrawal notice is received within one week (7 days) of the first class meeting, then no refund will be issued.
