Do you want more control over your camera? Do you just want to take better pictures? Introduction to Digital Photography is designed for students with limited or no prior knowledge of photography.

This course will focus on the camera and its settings and techniques of taking and processing digital photographs with consideration of the composition of photos. The course will extensively cover the camera and its components as well as shutter speed, aperture, lighting, and digital editing.
After completion of this course, students will better be able to compose and edit digital photographs to create more professional and creative images.
Bring your own camera. Digital SLR strongly recommended.
Open to adults and advanced high school students.
Background
Professional photographer Dan Lunde is an art teacher at Staunton River Middle School. He has taught photography and digital art classes to youth during the summer arts camps and to adults in evening classes at Bower Center for the Arts in Bedford since the summer of 2010.
Lunde graduated from Liberty University in 2007 with a degree in graphic design, and received his Masters of Arts in Teaching in 2010. Lunde is a wedding photographer and does various type portrait sessions; however, he does not limit his photography to any single genre.

Registration is not complete until full payment is received by the Bower Center.
Cancellation Policy
Classes subject to cancellation by the Bower Center if minimum attendance is not met or other circumstances beyond our control; 100% refund applies.
If attendee cancels, 85% of class fees will be refunded, unless the withdrawal notice is received within one week (7 days) of the first class meeting, then no refund will be issued.
