Through a mix of lecture demonstration and practice this workshop will explore the yoga principles of length, strength, alignment, balance, relaxation, and breath awareness. Ellen Mackey will begin with a focus on spinal health and an easeful back care practice. Teri Forte will follow with an in-depth look at the benefits of alignment in a series of common poses and a brief centering meditation. Mitchell Bond will conclude with a reflection on balance through a gentle restorative flow.
