"I am staying at home and the biggest change, honestly, is not coming to Bower to interact with other studio artists and staff and sharing with our creative community.Very little else has changed because as an oil painter, I already spend most of my time alone in the studio working. So lately I have been posting videos of my Buster painting on Instagram and Facebook.

I have also been working on pieces related to our collective lockdown. The Coronavirus, isolation, cultural shifts and all the big things that seem to be hanging over us now that we have time to think about them. “Heed the Messenger” is morphing into part of that. It is a follow up of “Pieces of Me”.  I had plans for something else, but I can’t help being touched by the world around me and it pushes me sometimes to make certain things despite my best-laid plans
