June 24-August 9, 2025
Bower Center for the Arts is proud to present our 4th Biennial Fiber Arts National Juried Exhibit. There were over 70 submissions, and Juror Sarah P. Bolduc selected 38 diverse and stunning pieces for this beautiful exhibit.
The basis of "fiber art" is the creation of a fine art piece uses fibrous material, natural or synthetic, and employs a variety of techniques and embellishments, including (but not limited to): quilting, knitting, embroidery, thread painting, needle felting, and weaving. They can be wall hung, sculptural, or wearable and can be both decorative or utilitarian.
A reception and awards presentation will be held on Friday, July 18th beginning at 5:00pm. Sarah will present her awards and commentary starting at 6:00pm. The public is invited to attend this free reception.
Thank you to the Garden family for their generous sponsorship of the awards for this stunning exhibit.
